Marketing Systems for Mission-Driven Organizations

Slay Channel helps mission-driven organizations and businesses clarify their message, reach the right audience, and build marketing systems that actually work.

We diagnose what isn’t working, refine your messaging, and build the websites, campaigns, and tools needed to reach the people who matter most.

How Slay Channel Works

  1. Diagnose What Isn’t Working
Every engagement begins by identifying what is holding your marketing back. Through audits, analysis, and conversation, we pinpoint gaps in messaging, visibility, and presence preventing you from reaching the right audience.

  2. Clarify the Message and Strategy
Once the problems are clear, we define the path forward. This includes refining your messaging, identifying the audiences that matter most, and outlining a strategy aligned with your goals, resources, and long-term vision.

  3. Build the Systems That Make It Happen
Finally, we implement the work itself — from websites and campaigns to ad strategies, design systems, and communication tools — creating marketing systems that consistently reach and engage the right people.

OUR APPROACH

Most organizations don’t have a marketing problem.
They have a clarity problem.
Slay Channel exists to help organizations communicate their work clearly and build marketing systems that actually support it.

Why Slay Channel Exists

Across industries and organizations, the same pattern appears again and again.
Marketing is often asked to fix problems that marketing didn’t create.
Teams produce more content.
More campaigns.
More social media.
But the underlying message remains unclear. When that happens, marketing becomes a constant cycle of activity without momentum. The issue isn’t effort. It’s clarity.Slay Channel was created to approach marketing differently: by diagnosing what isn’t working, clarifying how an organization actually creates value, and building systems that consistently communicate that.

The Perspective Behind the Work

Slay Channel was created by Jeremy JF Thompson (Remy), a strategist who has spent most of their life inside the mechanics of marketing and communication.Remy began writing copy at 14 for their mother’s list marketing company. Since then their work has moved through agencies, hospitality brands, nonprofit advocacy, political campaigns, and digital strategy roles. Along the way they’ve contributed to projects connected to organizations ranging from grassroots initiatives to global brands — including work tied to companies like Metallica and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s spirits ventures.Born and educated in California and New York, Remy has lived in Louisiana for the past 17 years.

Jeremy JF Thompson - Founder, Slay Channel

Remy is also a nonprofit founder, a trans and queer business owner, and a longtime community organizer. Those experiences shaped a core belief that carries into Slay Channel’s work:Values only matter when they are visible in practice.Remy also approaches strategy through the lens of neurodivergence. Living with ADHD and autism has shaped the way they identify patterns inside complex systems, quickly diagnose where communication breaks down, and cut through unnecessary noise.Connect with Remy on LinkedIn.

Core Principles

Clarity > Noise
If people can’t quickly understand what you do and why it matters, marketing will always feel harder than it should.
Systems > Tactics
Marketing works best when it’s built on structure and consistency, not constant reinvention.
Values > Hype
Organizations that care about their mission should communicate it honestly and clearly, not hide behind trends or jargon.

What This Means in Practice

Through Slay Channel, the focus is simple.Help mission-driven organizations and values-led businesses:⮕ clarify their message
⮕ reach the right audience
⮕ build marketing systems that actually work
That work can take many forms — audits, strategy, websites, campaigns, and long-term partnerships. But the goal is always the same:Replace marketing noise with clarity, structure, and momentum.Because when the message is clear, marketing becomes dramatically easier.
